Founded in 2007 by Christina and Matt Berlin, Other Paths, Inc. is a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to fostering growth through travel, service, and cultural exchange.

We believe growth looks different for everyone. There’s no single route to understanding, no fixed way to serve, and no one right way to engage with the world. What matters is the willingness to step outside the familiar, listen to others, and recognize the humanity we all share.

We design opportunities for people to explore new places, work alongside local communities, and build relationships that outlast the trip itself. A classroom overseas, a hands-on service project, or a shared meal with a family whose life looks nothing like yours — each moment carries the power to reshape how you see the world.
